At our company, the work environment is characterized by short decision-making paths, collaboration, and great engagement – where you get the opportunity to influence and contribute to our continued development.

In this role, you will work to drive and further develop our work within quality and environment, with a clear operational focus on the environmental area and to complement our internal competence within quality. You will work closely with the operations, translating legal requirements and standards into daily work, while keeping yourself updated on changes in environmental legislation. In this role, you will act as support in practical matters and contribute to ensuring that both products and processes meet applicable requirements. You will also drive improvement initiatives, handle deviations, follow up on actions, and ensure that our suppliers meet established quality and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with environmental legislation and requirements (REACH, RoHS, POP, FSCA, CA65)

  • Work with sustainability issues including CSRD, environmental goals, and follow-up of CO₂ work

  • Be responsible for reporting to authorities regarding environmental legislation (e.g., Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, SCIP)

  • Handle internal and external deviations as well as complaints

  • Conduct root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Why, 8D) and follow up on actions

  • Support the organization in quality, environmental, and legal requirement issues

  • Participate in product development projects and ensure that quality and environmental requirements are integrated into products

  • Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits, as well as participate in external and third-party audits

To thrive in this role, you are a self-driven and proactive person who takes responsibility for driving the work forward. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with the ability to analyze and see connections in complex issues. At the same time, you are pragmatic and solution-oriented in your way of working. You have good communication skills and are pedagogical in your dialogue with different parts of the organization. Furthermore, you find it easy to prioritize and handle several parallel tasks in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for you who have

  • Post-secondary education in quality, environment, or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of environmental legislation (REACH, RoHS, SCIP, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for employment. Likewise, fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Merits

  • Trained environmental engineer

  • Experience of environmental and quality work within the manufacturing industry

  • Experience of working with management systems, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001
